Sean Cody Performer Jarec Wentworth Released From Prison Early

Sean Cody Performer Jarec Wentworth has been released from prison after spending 70 months incarcerated.

Teofil Brank, known for his adult film name Jarec Wentworth, has been released early and transferred to a residential reentry management location in Long Beach, California. He’ll stay there for an additional five months.

Brank went to prison for blackmailing and extorting thousands of dollars from Republican donor Donald Burns. Burns hired Brank as an escort in 2013. Burns had met Brank while pursuing a desire to invest in the gay adult film industry. The two began a sexual relationship where Burns would pay Brank as an escort. Brank also acted as a recruiter and was paid $2,000 to find other men for Burns’ sexual exploits.

After the relationship soured, however, Brank threatened to publish explicit photos of Burns if the millionaire didn’t fork over $1.5 million, a $180,000 Audi8 sports car, a motorcycle, and buy him a lavish condo in L.A.

Brank was arrested in an FBI sting operation.

During the trial, Justin Griggs, a friend of Brank’s, also testified that he and the businessman engaged in, ahem, intimate behavior that included “hanging out, surfing, grilling out, going to dinner, and then we would have sex, group sex.”

Brank has long maintained his innocence. “My attorneys didn’t fight the case as I told them to,” he wrote in an email to Str8upgayporn. “They didn’t question witnesses how they were supposed to. I told them to ask the questions I was writing down [during trial], only for them to say ‘No, no, we got this.’ FML. They were in on it, too.”
